Pours pale straw with bright, brilliant clarity beneath a dense white foam of fine, persistent bubbles.

Pungent New Zealand hop character jumps immediately from the glass. Nelson Sauvin brings its classic dank, slightly diesel-like and almost rubbery edge, but in that unmistakably good Nelson way. Underneath that intensity are layers of grapefruit, and sweet tropical fruit.

​

Riwaka pushes the fruit character even further, bringing ripe mango, papaya, sweet grapefruit, and hints of melon. Bright mandarin and fresh citrus weave through everything, creating a saturated fresh-hop punch that feels both tropical and sharply citrus-driven.

On the palate, grapefruit and mandarin lead into mango, papaya, melon, and grapefruit rind. The fruit is expressive and almost sweet in character, but the beer itself stays decidedly dry. That pungent Nelson character carries throughout, adding a dank, savory edge that keeps the tropical fruit from becoming one-dimensional.

Bright, medium to medium-high bitterness gives the hops structure while the lager fermentation keeps everything clean and precise. Medium to medium-high carbonation makes the citrus, bitterness, and tropical character pop across the tongue.

Finishes very dry, crisp, and hop-forward with lingering grapefruit rind, tropical fruit, and a pleasant bitterness that invites another sip.
