P.S.T. (Pacific Standard Time)
West Coast Pilsner: ABV: 5.5%
Tasty Notes
Pours pale gold with brilliant, crystal-clear clarity beneath a dense white foam of tiny, persistent bubbles.
Sweet citrus and citrus candy rise first, layered with orange peel, orange zest, and sweet orange bitters, backed by a touch of fresh, fermenting bread character. Hints of lemon and ripe, candy-like grapefruit weave through classic “C-hop” grapefruit and delicate florals, with bright citrus punching through up front. Despite the sweet citrus aroma, P.S.T. is very dry and refreshing.
On the palate, orange and grapefruit lead into a Fruity Pebbles-like character that plays off a clean cereal malt backbone. The lager fermentation keeping everything crisp and precise beneath the West Coast IPA-level hopping.
Crisp and medium-light bodied, just substantial enough to carry the intensity of the hops without getting lost. Finishes clean, leaving you wanting another sip.
A modern mash-up of lager and West Coast IPA: brewed and fermented like a lager, hopped like a West Coast IPA, built entirely around 100% estate-grown Cascade and Centennial from Crosby Hops in Oregon.
